Dr. Catherine Milne was the first female surgeon to practice at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal. She spent her 43-year career at RVH, where she was chaired multiple hospital committees and was a member of the RVH Board of Directors. In addition, she was Associate Professor of Surgery and Oncology at McGill. Dr. Milne’s passion was always patient care. She developed very close relationships with many patients and has been cited for her dedication to her patients and staff. She retired at the end of 2014 and now resides in the Townships where she enjoys her many activities that include fly fishing, sailing and skiing.
